One of the most common scams on the entire net.
The victim of online scams, is typically a person who is in need of money, or someone who is fed up with his nine to five, or just anyone, who wants an easy way to earn money.
Also, ironically, known as online “Guru’s“, these individuals have no scruples whatsoever, and they will lie and manufacture fake jobs or business opportunities, with NO regards to the consequences for their victims.
Their scams include a wide variety of categories, like Affiliate Marketing, Pyramid Schemes, and non existent jobs.
Money For Nothing, Or Nothing For Money?
Usually, the victim is lured into joining a course, or system that promises a lot of money in a short period of time with minimum effort, for a low startup price. But this is only the beginning; usually there are a lot of “upsells” and additional costs, before you can reach your goal, a goal that in the end turns out to be non existent.
The criminals are smart, and before you know it, you have spent more than you intended, and this makes it even harder to quit, because you don’t want your money to be spent for nothing, but in order to continue, you need to pay even more.
When you finally do get out, your money is gone, and trying to get it back, is a lost cause.
I have learned to be very suspicious, whenever someone promises me easy or quick money. My experience tells me, there is no such thing.
My advice: If something seems too good to be true, then it probably is.
Don’t spend your money on anything online, unless you get to test it first.
Good luck with your online adventure, and watch yourself out there.
